And so the game begins….

Bar area looking toward front doorMassive leaps forward lately in that i now have the keys for the front door and my plan can finally be put into action.

For a year this has been on the cards, the Ballarat showing itself in June this year, so in terms of negotiation this has taken a long time but finally, we are in a position to get moving.
So, what are the plans for this wonderful space and its checkerboard floor?

We will start by showing you how it IS, how it will become will unfold on it’s own. We will start with the first thing that greets you as you walk in the door. The Bar, which is the area shown in the photograph.

After some TLC this will become a performing arts space with Gallery area off to the left of the camera. The Gallery will not only provide exhibition space for the artists involved in the project and outside, but will  have provision for a small film theatre as well. I am looking to hold gigs, comedy nights and acoustic sets here also so if that is what floats your boat then do get in touch for information on bands appearing, or indeed if you play yourself then i will be delighted to hear from you. A mailing list is on its way to being established but in the meantime you can keep up to date on our facebook page, www.facebook.com/artofindustry.

We are on the lookout for artists to perform in this space, bands wishing to practice here and willing helping hands are never turned down!!
Please contact for prices as they are negotiable in the early stages. You help me, i’ll help you 😉

Watch this space for updates on the 1st and 2nd floors. That’s priority number 2, and where the artists come in……
